Homework assignment from October 7th, 2007
For Hindi, the homework is optional and should be considered a stretch assignment for the children. The feedback from Om-ji and Praful-ji is that the class needs to follow the curriculum closely and focus on conversational Hindi. The ability to write numbers and alphabets is convered in higher level courses and the children may not be ready for it.

Going forward we will be focusing on story reading, conversational games, and interaction in a less formal environment with kids gathering in the front of the class in a circle. My hope is that we can continue to stimulate and encourage children of all levels of Hindi knowledge. I may still have some stretch assignments but please consider those as optional and no need to turn them in.
