• Learnt about Days of the week (page-23), Tastes (page-25), and Seasons (page-27).
• Discussed on all above new topics and learnt some new words.

  • We had a review session about our previous lesson: kings.
  • We learnt about Invanders. who they are and also talked about the different types of Invaders.
  • In the end we had a review quiz about Invaders. It was a fun lesson to learn more about Mugals...

• We had Halloween celebration today in culture session
• Kids dressed up as someone who represents India
• We had Gurukul wide gathering and each student told to the group what they are wearing
• Then we came back in the class and everyone was given a pair...

• Learnt about Fruits (page-19)

• Color a Kathakali mask.
• Also, I suggest that parents help them research the story of Hanumanji and Sanjeevani booti for the next class. If they want to write a small paragraph it will be great( I will leave that up to the parents).
• We will probably ask a few of them to collectively recite parts of the story, to get them all comfortable with speaking in class.

The children are requested to wear any costume that purely represents Indian culture eg., Gandhiji, Kings, Goddess, Dance Costume...etc,(examples are just a suggestion!).  Each child is given 30 seconds to mention their name and describe their costume in Hindi.(one or two sentences)
