Complete writing worksheets on अ आ इ ई in the folder (first 4 pages).  Learn words beginning with these letters.  Try to make simple sentences with these words such as Aam khaao.

 The children have to complete Pages 40 and 42 from the book. These are exercises to revise the क ख ग घ ङ

They have to  complete the sheets with च छ ज झ ञ letters from page 43- 47.

They have to complete sheets 52-56.

We discussed a plan for children to review all their alphabets during the Christmas break in a fun way and we came up with a show and tell project that allows each child to create a book on alphabets with each book following a theme.  Each page needs to have a drawing/picture of an object that starts with the letter along with the letter written out. The possible themes are:

- Words related to Seasons:  आ for AAsmaan, ब for baarish, garam.  They need to draw or paste pictures along with writing the letter.  They can speak the word and not write it.
- Festivals: प for puja or patakaa, न for naachana, ह for Holi, द for Diwali
- Transportation
- Cities in India
- Characters in Indian Mythology
- Sports
- Animals
- Household items

Each child can choose any 3 themes for the words.
The deadline is end of January however it is best to tackle 4-5 letter each week starting now otherwise it will be overwhelming for your child.  We really want them to enjoy the experience and not think of it as a chore.

They have to complete pages 58 and 60. These are reviewing exercises

They have to complete the exercise on page 149 and 150 ( Relationship between objects in space).

They have to make a scene on a paper showing a farm and all the things that the farmers worship during the Sakranti season.

Let them make a kite with  all the materials provided to them

-   clicking each consonant and watch how they are written in a cursive way
-   clicking the speaker icon and hearing the sound
-  After practicing for 1-2 days,  get them to take a test for lines 5-8 of consonants using the test button on the left.

This is a repeat since we feel that many children need to review the later half of the alphabets.  Please do make sure you practice this over a couple of days.
